Powder coating is a dry finishing process that involves applying a fine powder to a metal surface. This powder is made from a mixture of finely ground particles of resin and pigment. Unlike traditional liquid paints, powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid state. Instead, the powder is electrostatically charged and sprayed onto the surface of the metal, where it adheres due to electrostatic forces.
Once applied, the coated metal is heated in an oven, allowing the powder to melt and form a smooth, durable finish. This process results in a thick, even coating that is more resilient than conventional paint
